Make It Monday #209: White on White Die Cuts With a Pop of Color

 

Hi! Another week starts and I made this card. Simple simple, simple.

こんにちは。今日はとてもシンプルな挨拶カードの紹介です。

Lexi introduced in her MIM video "white on white die cuts" this fun technique.
Just like last MIM, I like this "hello" die so I used it again.

白いカードストックでダイカットしたフレーズを並べ、繰り返し貼りつけていきます。

メインとなる黒のフレーズもダイカットして厚みをつけるため二重に重ねておいた土台に重ねます。

・・・以上で完成です（笑）
I cut several "hello" in white and adhered onto cardstock.
To pop out the main sentiment in black. I layered three diecyut instead of using foam adhesive.

I thought about adding some embellishments, but I decide to keep it simplest, so that I can send this to either male or female recepient later.

男性にも送れるようにと、これ以上の飾りはしないことに決めました。
たまにはシンプルに徹するのもいいですね。

It is just white and black card, but it has lots and not (so) boring.

Sometimes, simple is best. So I like this card. Hope you like it, too.

Make It Monday #208: Ombre Stamping

"hello"!! Another week starts, and I begin this week starting from card making for new MIM challenge.

This week, Laurie introduced Ombre Stamping technique.
I stamped background in green ink cubes using obmre technique.
Colors used here are: Tropical Teal, Hawaiian Shore, Aqua Mist.
Also I added some more green dots using my current favorite tool, mist.

And...I LOVE Tropical Teal ink! I should have tried this color when it was released. (I just bought a cube a few months ago.)

今週のペーパートレイインクでは、オンブレ・スタンプのテクニックを紹介しています。オンブレは決して得意ではないのですが、せっかくなので挑戦しました。

グリーン系のインクで背景をオンブレに押し、仕上げにはリボンと花紙を使いました。ダイカットした"hello"には、グロッシーアクセンツを塗り、ツヤを出しています。

月曜の午前中のうちにカードが仕上がると気分がスッキリします（笑）

Make It Monday #207: Double Partial Die Cutting

Today I finally made a card for PapertreyInk's Make It Monday Challenge. This week Laura introduced Double Partial Die Cutting technique.

こんにちは。
２種類のダイを組み合わせてフレームを作るというお題。
フレームが出来てからもカードに仕上げるまでに時間がかかってしまいましたが、期限内に仕上げることができました。

I struggled how to finish die cut frame with base card and it took me a week to finish one card. Sometimes it happens.

Anyway, here is my card.

I used tulip stamp from Cuppa Love stamp set to make this card SPRING-y.

ブルーとイエローとブラックの組み合わせで何か作りたいと思っていたので、今週のチャレンジで使ってみてスッキリしました(´∀｀)

These days I wanted make something in yellow, blue and black combination, so I am happy that I made it.
