Card making: Celebrate & Thinking of you

Hi! Today I am sharing two more cards using ALTENEW's stamps.

またまたALTENEWのスタンプを使ったカードです。フォール・イン・ラブしてしまったので連日カードばかり作っていました。

まず最初は、ウィムジカル・フラワーというスタンプ。モノトーンを心がけて作り、仕上げにシルバーのグリッターリボンをのせました。

The stamp set used above is "Whimsical Flowers". I used only grey and black inks (which is very difficult for me, I love COLORS!!), and added glittered ribbon as a final touch.



Next is a very colorful card.

次はカラフルなカード。ペインテッド・フラワーというスタンプです。蛍光色のインクを２層目に少し使っています。このスタンプセットに一目ぼれして、ALTENEWのブランドを知りました。ずれて押しても失敗にならない。というか、ぴったり重ねて押すことはできません。どこかがはみ出ます。

I used "Painted Flowers" stamp here.
I love layered stamp sets. Lot of possibilities.
And I think NEON inks from Hero Arts work well with ALTENEW stamp sets. Can you find some in below?

I am so glad I came across the stamps from ALTENEW. Their stamps are all fabulous!! I can't wait what they produce next.

Altenew February Challenge: Gold and Glitter #2

引き続き、ALTENEWのスタンプにはまっているので、また２月のチャレンジにアップするカードを作りました。今回はビンテージ・ローズというスタンプを使っています。

As I couldn't stop thinking Gold and Glitter themed card, I made another card for this challenge.

Flowers are from ALTENEW's Vintage Roses stamps, cut out by hand.
I used GLITTERS in several colors including GOLD, and made diagonal lines. I did't add other embellishments because I thought that might be too much.

ペーパートレイインクにも３段階に重ねておすスタンプがありますが、こちらはさらに上を行く４段階のローズがあります、、、インク選びに一番時間がかかります。が！出来上がった時の喜びも大きいのです。
そして今日はグリッターを使ったので、家のあちこちにキラキラが落ちて残っています（笑）

This stamp set is amazing. You can build five different roses from this.


Oh I still can't stop thinking of next card using their stamps!!

Card making: Thanks a Bunch

Since I started papercrafting 3 years ago, I haven't felt to buy butterfly stamps.
Not only stamps, I also avoided butteflies in punches, stickers, etc.

But something happened to me just recently (and I don't know why), I started to search products of butterflies, and found a beautiful stamp set, "painted butterflies" at ALTENEW!!


ペーパークラフトの道具を集め始めてからも、ずっと避けてきたモチーフがありました。バタフライです。完成間近のレイアウトにちょっと添えるのに最適なアイテムだとわかるものの、どうしても好きになれないというか、少しリアルで受け入れづらく、、、マーサスチュワートクラフトでもペーパートレイインクからでも何も買いませんでした。

ところがつい最近になって心境の変化か歳のせいか（笑）、急にバタフライが気になるようになり、今度は夢中になってバタフライを探し始めたのです。ちょうどその時に目にしたのが、このペインテッド・バタフライ。リアル感も薄いし、レイヤードを外してスタンプしても失敗が気にならなそうだし、気に入って購入しました。

最初にどのインクを使おうか迷ったとき、目に入ったのがヒーローアーツのネオンインク。パープルがその日の気分にぴったりでした。合わせたネオンイエローも、良いアクセントになって気に入りました。まだあまり、カードのサンプルや他のクラフターさんの作品を見かけないのですが、またあちこちでインスピレーションを収集して使いこなしていきたいです。


My very first butterfly was inked in purple! NEON purple.

I love love love those butterflies. What do you think?

Altenew February Challenge: Gold and Glitter

Today I am sharing my card using altenew stamp.

I recently got my first altenew products and like them so much!!!
This is my first time to join their monthly challenge.
"Gold and Glitter" is the theme:ALTENEW blog from here.

先月のこと、ピンタレストでいつものようにカードのアイデアを収集していたところ、あまり見かけないスタンプを使ったカードに出会いました。ALTENEWと書いてあったので検索にかけたところ、去年に誕生したばかりのスタンプブランドであることを知り、同時に、ショップ内のスタンプを全部買い占めたいほどの衝動に駆られ、それから数日以内には最初のチェックアウトを済ませていました（笑）

今日は、そのALTENEWのブログで開催している月毎のチャレンジに投稿したカードの紹介です。マグノリア・フォー・ハーというスタンプを使用しています。


Here is my card.

I used Magnolias For Her stamp set. I framed two flowers with frames in gold and silver. I heat embossed the outline of flowers, cut out, and misted with Heidi Sawpp color shine BUTTER. Then I die cut a bubble speech in the middle of card to make a window. "HELLO" sentiment is adhered to the inside of cardstock.

I added some glitter dots using Martha Stewart's glitter glue.


チャレンジのお題が「ゴールドとグリッター」なので、ヒートエンボスの他にも、ミストとグリッターグルーを使っています。キラキラする道具を使うとテンションが上がりますね。

Make It Monday #199 Confetti Garlands

It's Monday again!

Today Betsy showed us how to make confetti garlands in her video, now it's my turn to try.

I already have some sequins in various sizes, found at Walmart, so I used them.

Also I wanted use Polka Dot Basic stamp which I finally purchased from PTI (because my PTI wish list is so long!).

昨日のBlog Hopに続き、今日もMIMに参加しました。
コンフェティをつないでガーランドを作るというテーマ。
手元にたくさんのスパンコールがあるので、消費を兼ねて(?)たくさんつなぎました。

So here is my card.

 

Polka dot in purple is from Polka Dot Basic stamp set and bigger circle is stamped from Pretty Petal stamp set. I also used Mat stack #6 series dies and stamps. "BIRTHDAY" diecut is my DIY foam sticker which Laurie showed us few weeks ago.

 

やっと購入したPolka Dot Basicも使ったし、12月にもらったフリーギフトのPretty Petalsもやっと開封できました。Polka Dotを等間隔に押すのはコツがいるけど、押してみると楽しいスタンプですね。以前から持っているBasic Ⅱよりもドットの間隔が広くて、やっぱりこっちのほうが好きです。

Card making: Thinking of You

This card for my friend to cheer her up.

 

友人に送るカードを作りました。私の中で彼女のイメージカラーは赤なので、赤いジェラートを使いました。

中学時代からの友達に「愛」を送るのは気恥ずかしいけれど、このセンチメンツが今の気持ちにいちばん合っていたので思い切って。

 

Red color on background is watercolored with gelatos.

Stamps are from PapertreyInk. I love this dahlia stamp set.

 



This time I watercolored my flowers, too.


So here are two cards using same stamp set.
PTI's layering stamp sets are very beautiful, aren't they?
